Paint building up is common with acrylics. Again a brush and some Alcohol or Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner work very well. Keeping your airbrush clean is fundamental to having a hassle free and fun airbrushing experience so it’s a good idea to develop a good cleaning regimen. It’s also important to have the right tools and cleaning agents to keep that airbrush working well. Today we’re going to talk about saving money on airbrush cleaner. What Kind of Cleaner Can You Use To Clean Your Airbrush? For cleaning out the brush. I use Spraycraft or Liquid Reamer cleaner from an aerosol can. I then spray some tap water through the brush to clear out any remaining cleaner.

Acetone for both Acrylics and Enamels and it works hundreds... the Acetone cleans it up shiny shiny. Been using this for a while, works very well. Only thing i find a problem is getting the last of the spray out of the can. You know its in there but tried, shaking and more shaking even soaking can in hot water but usually end up throwing can out! Anybody else have this issue?? Always good to see this posted again. I have been using the airbrush cleaner as liquid cement for several years now and actually just refill the same old green top bottle with an eyedropper every so often from the airbrush cleaner bottle.I use Revell Aqua Cleaner or IPA to flush through until all paint is removed. I then flush through with water to finish off. even the paint reservoir and a cotton bud took some effort, doesnt look like it did when it was brand new just prior to this test. I just need a dedicated spray room. Mmm flat balcony na Pauline needs it for her plants. Tut what to do what to do Quite a range there.... I was also told to use Nail paint remover, so another vote for Acetone. Acetone seems a good start point, "shiny shiny" suits me....Also told to use car windscreen cleaner.

The one area where I do go bulk is using car screenwash to clean acrylics out of my airbrush. Saves a lot compared to Tamiya X-20A, which I limit to its primary use to thin their paints…There are a lot of different products that are suitable for cleaning an airbrush. These range from name brand products made by the same companies that make airbrushes and airbrush paint, to run of the mill household items that you probably already have under the sink or in the garage.

So bedroom 2, 9*11ft. Model room with secondary use during night pull out bed. I can dream (Dart Herald nightmare) among my models. Plus also fine spray water mist about 15 minutes before spraying. Worked well when I used the garage. I have always used the Tamiya Airbrush cleaner from basically when I started using my paint thrower, and also had the issues mentioned above. The Iwata Medea airbrush cleaning station is a great for controlling and containing your waste from airbrush cleaner This automotive windshield washer fluid makes an outstanding airbrush cleaner and as you can see it’s dirt cheap
